World Cup Doodle Series
2018–2019
Description:
I created and directed the Goodle Doodle series for the World Cup in 2018 and the Womens World Cup in 2019.
For this series of 62 unique Doodle illustrations, we commissioned 1 artist from each of the 32 countries competing in the Mens World Cup in 2018. The next year, we commisioned 24 women artists from each of the countries in the Womens World Cup.

Each artist started with the same template of the ball and the goal (below), and filled in the scene to show, “This is what ⚽ looks like in my country.”
For the Womens World Cup the following summer, the artists’ template was simply the ball in the center of the frame.
